Wedding Party Introduction:

The Ceremony is commonly followed by some pictures of the Bride, the Groom, their immediate families, and the Wedding Party. The Guests have already transitioned to the Reception area and are enjoying the Cocktail Hour. When the Bride, the Groom, and the members of the Wedding Party are ready to join the guests, it's time for the Wedding Party Introduction. The purpose of the Wedding Party Introduction is to introduce all of the Bridesmaids and Groomsmen to the Guests, and announce the arrival of the Bride and Groom. The Wedding Party Introduction is generally conducted by announcing, and introducing, the Bridesmaids and Groomsmen to the Guests. Sometimes individually, and sometimes in pairs. When a member or pair of members of the Wedding Party are announced, he she or they will enter the Reception area and begin lining up at a predisposed location. Once all of the members of the Wedding Party have been introduced, the DJ will ask all of the Guests to rise to their feet then announce the Bride and Groom. The amount of character involved in the Introduction can vary widely. Some Brides and Grooms don't want to be the center of attention any more than is necessary. So they may skip having an Introduction. Other couples prefer to make quite a production of the Introduction. Costumes are sometimes involved, along with special lighting, videos, sound effects, or pop-culture theme songs. There is an assortment of Wedding Party Introduction Videos on our YouTube Channel. Most newlyweds choose an Introduction in which members of the Wedding Party are introduced while a song or songs that are fun and familiar to the majority of the Guests are played. Adding some personality and specific characteristics to the Introduction such as "our Maid of Honor is the Bride's Sister" is a very popular option.
